Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh grabbed Mehdi Hasan’s questions out of his hand during an interview this week after Hasan pressed Walsh on his comments about Palestinians.

Walsh and Hasan clashed repeatedly during the interview about Israel’s war in Gaza, with Walsh eventually becoming so heated that he grabbed Hasan’s questions out of his hand.

“I do not sit in front of you and say that this is all one-sided, like you pretty much say,” claimed Walsh – who left the Republican Party in 2020 in protest over President Donald Trump – to which Hasan replied, “You do. Joe, you’re lying.”

“Bullcrap!” Walsh protested.

The argument went on:

Hasan: I’m gonna read the quote to the viewers: “It is on the Palestinians.” That’s what you just said.

Walsh: Yes! I stand by that.

Hasan: So you just lied?

Walsh: Hold on.

Hasan: Joe, ten seconds ago, you said, “I didn’t say I put it all on the Palestinians.”

Walsh: I don’t! Mehdi, I don’t put it all on the Palestinians.

Hasan: “Yes, it is on the Palestinians. Israel has always wanted peace.” That is putting it all on the Palestinians.

Walsh: No, hold on. No, it’s not.

As Hasan offered to read the quote “a third time,” Walsh screamed, “No, no, no!” and grabbed the questions out of Hasan’s hand.

“Mehdi, don’t read it a third time!” he shouted. “Let me answer the freaking question!”

“You can’t pull my questions out of my hand,” reacted Hasan.
