FNBC has promoted Scott Sellars to senior vice president, head of consumer lending, said Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer Trent Brown.
In April 2021, Sellars assumed interim leadership responsibilities for consumer lending before officially being appointed vice president in January 2022. In his role, he will continue to lead FNBC’s consumer lending platform.
“Scott has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic vision and a commitment to enhancing our consumer lending services,” said Brown. “I look forward to continuing to work with Scott to bring even more value to our communities.”
Sellars, who has more than two decades of banking experience, joined FNBC in 2007 as vice president, commercial lender in the Mountain Home market.
Prior to joining FNBC, he worked for another financial institution in the market and held several roles, including loan officer, branch manager and vice president.
He has completed banking certifications at Paul W. Barrett School of Banking in Memphis and the Arkansas Banker’s School of Lending in Jonesboro.
